Mr Ahmad Abdul-Rahman is a consultant urological surgeon at Hull and East Riding hospitals with a special interest in functional urology and reconstruction. His Higher training was undertaken in Yorkshire deanery and became an undergraduate clinical tutor for Hull/York Medical School. Mr.Abdul-Rahman has always been interested in Postgraduate Medical Education, and was a tutor at Urology Diploma course at UCL and served as Urodynamics course director in Turkey for the last three years. Mr. Abdul-Rahman has been a faculty in the simulation training at Leeds Boot camp 2016, and now to co-lead Module 6 at Boot camp 2019.

Kamran Ahmed is a Consultant Urological Surgeon with specialist interests in andrology, male fertility and Genito-urinary reconstruction surgery at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City (SKMC), Abu Dhabi. Other current roles inculde IRB / Research Director at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City and Clinical Professor at Khalifa University, Abu Dhabi. He completed his specialist training in London, and undertook clinical fellowship training at University College London Hospital in andrology, reconstructive surgery, and infertility management. He holds a PhD degree from Imperial College London, and is also a NHS Clinical Entrepreneur. Kamran is a specialist in andrology (men’s health, male sexual / erectile dysfunction, Peyronie’s disease, low testosterone management), male fertility management, vasectomy reversal, and urethral stricture surgery (endoscopic and reconstructive i.e. urethroplasty). He also has expertise in managing lower urinary tract disorders (caused by enlarged prostate or bladder dysfunction, or incontinence), recurrent urinary tract infections (cystitis, kidney infections), pelvic pain and chronic prostatitis, urolithiasis (renal tract stones) and other general benign and malignant urology conditions. He has received a number of awards, and grants, from various organisations, including American Urological Association, European Association of Urology, the British Association of Urological Surgeons, the Royal College of Surgeons, the National Institute for Health Research, Coptcoat Charity, and Pelican Group. Kamran has published widely, with nearly 280 peer-reviewed indexed publications and 300 national and international conference presentations and abstract publications. He is editor and author of four urological textbooks, and has written a number of book chapters. He has served on the Editorial Board of British Journal of Urology International (BJUI). Kamran has a major interest in education, and is the lead for Surgical Sciences iBSc modules at KCL, the education lead for EULIS section of European Association of Urology (EAU), board member of Junior ERUS-EAU and tutor on the European Urology Resident Education Programme (EUREP). He has been invited as visiting professor or lecturer to institutions in the USA, Europe, and Middle East.

Rizwan Hamid is a Consultant Urological Surgeon at the University College London Hospitals and London Spinal Injuries Unit, Stanmore, UK and a Honorary Associate Professor at UCL. He undertook specialist urological training in London with fellowship in functional and neurourology at Institute of Urology, London. Rizwan was the first non-European qualified urologist appointed at UCLH in open interview. His doctoral thesis was investigating fertility issues in spinal cord injury men resulting in a MD from UCL. He specialises in Female Urology & Neuro-Urology and provides a tertiary care practice in reconstruction of the lower urinary tract. Complementing his experience in general urological conditions, Rizwan specialises in conservative and surgical management of bladder dysfunction in both male and females. He has particular interest in managing overactive bladder, urinary incontinence, infections and bladder pain in both sexes. He has a keen interest in treating men’s health conditions like prostate issues and erectile dysfunction Rizwan is an internationally acknowledged expert in the management of bladder dysfunction after neurological diseases. He undertakes all surgical procedures in functional urology with particular interest in the use of Botulinum toxin and sacral neuromodulation for bladder dysfunction and slings and sphincters for urinary incontinence. Rizwan has been a principal investigator for a number of clinical trials. He set up and is the principal investigator for a European wide registry for male anti-incontinence surgery. Rizwan is the Director of School of Neurourology of International Continence Society (ICS) and Chair of the Neuro-urology Promotion Committee. He sits on the Boards of Female and Functional sections of European Association of Urology. He has been involved in a number of guidelines initiatives including co-chair for terminology in Neuro-Urology and male surgical procedures. He is also a member of Neuro-urology guidelines panel of European Association of Urology. In addition to clinical side, Rizwan enjoys the academic and teaching aspect of Urology. He is regularly invited to lecture and chair at major international meetings and invited to review articles for a number of urology journals. He is on the Editorial Boards of Neurourology & Urodynamics and Turkish urology journal. He has published more than 100 peer reviewed articles and has been invited to contribute a number of review articles and guidelines initiatives. He has authored more than 15 book chapters.

Dr. Yasser Farahat is currently Chairman of the Arab School of Urology and a Professor of Urology at Tanta University, Egypt, a Clinical Tutor at Edinburg University, UK, and a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons, UK. He is a Consultant Urologist at the Ministry of Health and Prevention UAE and a Fellow of the European Board of Urology (FEBU). He is acting as a Senior Consultant of Urology at Sheikh Khalifa General Hospital (SKGH-UAQ), UAE. His special interests & research include minimally invasive surgery, Endo-urology, Robotic Assisted FURS, Reconstructive Urology, and Andrology. He completed his MD in 2004 at Tanta University, Egypt. He had been awarded several prizes including the Best Research and Presentation at The First Eastern Mediterranean Meeting of the European Association of Urology in 2007 and The Best Research Poster Presentation at the 25th annual EAU Congress in 2010. He is one of the worldwide initiators of using the robotic-assisted RIRS since the invention of the Roboflex and improving the utilization of flexible ureteroscopy in renal calculi management. He is also, a reviewer of several international journals. He has published over 35 international and local publications and has presented at 90 conferences worldwide.
